Inspiration / Textured / Jackina Stark
This design feels very personable. If the brief was to make you feel like you had opend up one of Jackina’s books, like it was on her desk, then its been achieved. Using paper and wood textures in this context is justifiable. Textures are often used for the sake of it but here its perfect.
Everyday the fridge is updated with the best new sites and web design resources that emerge from the industry, and sometimes (when i get a spare minute) I sit at my desk and write an article.

Thanks for the link. You nailed it exactly. I designed the site and the client was looking to have a website that would allow her readers to feel a connection with her as an author beyond reading her books. Cheers!
