Putting the fixed naviagtion at the bottom of the page, is just enough to make this site standout from the crowd. Alot of thought has been put into the usability of this site. A clean design nicely pulled off. Not sure about bg though.

Everyday the fridge is updated with the best new sites and web design resources that emerge from the industry, and sometimes (when i get a spare minute) I sit at my desk and write an article.
